Our event is a dedicated marketplace for Australian Stock Horse and Quarter Horse yearlings and young horses, bringing together trusted breeders, serious buyers and a supportive community; all in one professional, welcoming environment.

The weekend features the ever-popular Stan Bowd Vendor Challenge, the exciting Barastoc Novice Campdraft, and in 2026 we’re proud to continue building on our momentum with the inclusion of the Open Buyers Challenge and the Nutrien Mossvale 3 & Under Incentive Challenge for returning horses; creating even more pathways for our sale graduates to shine.
At its heart, the Great Southern Yearling Sale is about backing breeders, supporting buyers and giving young horses the very best platform to begin their careers.
