CR Equine Dry Working Pattern – Show off your horse’s athleticism and responsiveness.

Lone Pine ASH Time Trial – Demonstrate speed, precision, and control under pressure.

Cattle Section – Highlight instinct, cow sense, and working ability.

The overall winner will take home a stunning, hand-crafted Fender Saddle by Stan Bowd—a true testament to quality and craftsmanship.

This exciting challenge is designed to showcase the next generation of talent, giving owners the opportunity to bring their young horses back to compete, grow, and shine! Two exciting sections to compete in:
Tallowa Park Stockhorses Ridden Section
Oakton Lodge Performance Horses Utility Section
One of the biggest drawcards? Owners can nominate a rider or trainer to compete on their behalf! This means your sale' graduate can still compete even if you can’t make it yourself.

OPEN BUYERS CHALLENGE
The Open Buyers Challenge is designed for purchasers from the 2025 Great Southern Yearling Sale — giving buyers the chance to return, compete, and be part of the action during our 2026 sale weekend.
Unlike our incentive events, competitors can ride any horse of their choosing, making this a fantastic opportunity for past purchasers to get involved, compete for great prizemoney, and enjoy the atmosphere of sale weekend.
Competitors will battle it out across three exciting sections:

Ridgewood Partnership Campdraft Section
